Feet fail me not

Does anyone else use Eminem's "Lose Yourself" to pump themselves up? Not to mention it's excellent song writing. Every time I listen to it I'm awed by his talent--the vulnerability, the similes/metaphors, the rhymes, the flow, and the driving beat to match the narrator's drive.  I love the whole third verse. "Tear this motherfucking roof off like two dogs caged..." ...Maybe it's just cause "motherfucker" is my favorite swear word.

My youngest daughter (35 yo) is a big fan. I have therefore heard some of his music as she frequently says - "mom - listen to this..."
This song is pretty good. On the whole - he's okay.

This is a very powerful song. I don't listen to much rap, but I do like some Eminem when I hear it.

I actually remember where I was the first time I heard his first hit, "My Name Is" -- second floor Chapters, near the Starbucks. ...Not that I'm his #1 fan, but it was different than anything I'd heard out there!
