QUOTE OF THE NOW

"Our life evokes our character. You find out more about yourself as you go on. That's why it's good to be able to put yourself in situations that will evoke your higher nature rather than your lower. 'Lead us not into temptation.'" Joseph Campbell

A Love Story

One of the short stories from Paris, Je t'aime, which I've never seen. It's a wonderful little love story, that manages to defend veil-wearing without coming off as preachy.

This version has the English subtitles, but if you want to see the first minute of context, watch a minute of the second video first. It's in French only (with Italian? subtitles.)

Apparently at the end of the movie, when you see a short clip of all the characters, you see the two of them at a rock concert, with a sister or someone--an implied chaperone.
