"Our life evokes our character. You find out more about yourself as you go on. That's why it's good to be able to put yourself in situations that will evoke your higher nature rather than your lower. 'Lead us not into temptation.'" Joseph Campbell

nanocats
Kitteh be paw-blockin'.
"I can't see the screen and your fat ass is on my mousepad."
"Shouldn't have named it after a rodent, mahmmy."
Cats: our little helpers. My housemates' cat helps his mom read by climbing onto her chest in front of her book. He helps her work on her computer by climbing onto her chest, then lying flat along her torso (he's a big cat). And, when he thinks either his mom or his dad need a break from whatever they are doing, he pets them with a paw to remind them to take a kitty pet break. Over and over again. He's considerate that way.
Glad to know that Haley is fully involved in your Nano experience!
Widdercat is disgusted with my obsession with my keyboard and has taken to her bed! ... I don't have the heart to tell her it's not working as she intended.
so is there a not-so-subtle note in there that you have been tempted to completely delete what you've written so far because it has to be the lamest thing ever written? because ME TOO. I pasted in the 700 words I wrote last week when this idea came to me, just so I could make some progress today, but I've got to decide by tomorrow whether to keep going with this or start over with something else. I think by day 5 it's too late. blerg.
@widders - And don't tell her it's gonna get worse! (Radiation!)
@Barb - No, because when I got these pics and made the post I hadn't even written yet! Procrastination Station. But once I had written I then DID go on to be disgusted by it all.
But don't delete anything! Just leave the words, and start something new (if you decide that route.) So that you don't lose the words! lol
@Mabel--good point. I guess they are words that I wrote during November. I still am going back and forth today-- have another idea, but the old one is still calling to me. Will decide by midnight.
Often in early editing I'll cut a bunch and drop it at the end of the project, behind a line --------------- just in case I later change my mind. You can do that too so as not to lose the word count...

@widders - Also, we require a photo of Widdercat in her bed.

Good luck!
