At home it's just the bed or the sofa. When I'm on vacation I usually have a fave spot, though. On a family trip to Trinidad when I was younger, it was reading Les Miserables on the balcony, my feet up on the railing.
At dad and step-mommy's house it's the chairs by the front window. My dad calls it my office. A reading lamp, a plug for my computer, and views.
At my mother's place, in the summer, I like to sit at the back door. Have my breakfast toast and tea and read and watch the many cats and dogs roaming about.
Of course if it's cold...

Gorgeous photos, but I could feel the chill. I'd be under the blankies. : )
For reading, I choose my favorite tapestry upholstered recliner chair. It also faces a nice view. There's something so nice about the luxury of reading and watching the world pass by.
What a couple'a magnificent Basement Cats!
My favorite place to read is my recliner in my room. Or if no one is at home but me, the recliner in the living room.
Beautiful views.
What are basement cats? They'd like to know. lol
We call them nests. No matter where they are, they are cozy. Great view! I would totally be in the same spot.
(Averted my eyes past those that were not dogs.)
Lol, loved the bagle pic.
I love your reading spaces. I still haven't found myself a good one here, but you've certainly inspired me.
Where is your Dad and Step-Mommy's place? Lovely views and it reminds me both of when I lived in North Vancouver, BC and my Mom's place in Monterey, California. My favorite place to read is in my cozy bed in fall/winter/spring and out on the patio under the shade in the summer. I also like looking out and seeing what's going on. (Hence the many bird photos on my blog!)
@ Robena - Oh right, yes, there is a blanky I use!
@widders - Mystery and Purdy thank you
@JJJ - I need a recliner one day... sweet
@CiCi - Okay it took me a minute too! But here...

@ Julie - (Sorry, I don't even see cats, they're so much a part of my psyche!) Isn't Yoda a nice traveling companion?
@Kate - Oh! For some reason I thought you'd taken down your blog so I haven't been in awhile. Beautiful little birds there!
