"Our life evokes our character. You find out more about yourself as you go on. That's why it's good to be able to put yourself in situations that will evoke your higher nature rather than your lower. 'Lead us not into temptation.'" Joseph Campbell

November
Here's what November in Nanaimo looks like:
Okay, admittedly it also looks like this:
My dad likes to say: "You know what my favorite Fall color in Nanaimo is? Green!"
Any idea how Nanaimo compares to Seattle rain and gray-wise?
Down here Texas way, the trees are green or brown. Well, on my way to Dallas today, I even saw a few yellow, red, and rust-colored ones. But mostly green or brown. They just stay green until they suddenly turn brown. Just as suddenly all the leaves will drop off.
@Skye - the weather is genarally similar to Seattle - we're just a two hour drive north. But thanks to the rain shadow effect of Vancouver Island, we get more breaks from the wintery rains.

I love that last one, all misty and mysterious. I know you probably vote for number one.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I kinda miss fall.
That last pic is kinda like what it looks like here on WidderLake at the moment. But pretty none-the-less.

We've had lots of fog the last couple of days, too. I like the mysterious look of it unless I'm trying to drive through it.
@Robena - Just depends whether I have to go out!
@Skye - there, my dad answered. Knows better than me.
@widders - And often it's warmer than I expect it to be.
@JJJ - Indeed, then it's @*&$*#!
